In-Product Brand
Messenger is an instant messaging app developed by Meta. For this project, my task was to define and develop an in-product brand system that would complement the product design updates for Messenger 4. The in-product brand included product illustrations, lightweight actions, stickers, reactions, power-ups, and extending to other surfaces.

In-Product Brand Book
The brand book was created for other illustrators who produce branded work and cross-functional partners who collaborate with the illustrators. It provides detailed information about the different elements of the in-product brand, best practices, principles, and how to effectively collaborate with illustrators.
Extending Style
After creating the in-product brand and brand book, we collaborated with other talented artists to enhance the core identity. Jerry Liu created our animated sticker, and James Owen worked on some 3D explorations.
Social
The branding work done within the product can also be easily translated into designs and usage outside of the product.
