Egress is an album dedicated to specific outdoor spaces in the Bay Area. These spaces are a refuge from the buzz of the city and a partner in idle wandering. The music on the album was composed during a move away from the Bay Area because of a recent MS diagnosis, an unhappy family, and a demanding work schedule. These spaces of respite are missed but not forgotten.
