Putnam Studio Identity
Putnam Studio is the place where I sell artwork. I specialize in creating functional ceramics, sculptural ceramics, Risograph prints, and other artwork. Art pieces are released in different drops throughout the year, with each drop being unique and considered a sub-brand of the main studio. To accommodate these various drops, I have created a simple main brand.

Four months for each launch
Summer 2023 Drop
For the Summer 2023 Drop, I drew inspiration from the trail runs I take in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. During these runs, I often capture photos of various rock formations, sediments, and layers. I created a series of artwork that emulates these landscape features. The packaging collateral for this collection includes simple illustrations and vibrant colors on the pots.
Summer 2022 Drop
Here is a sample of some of the elements in the Summer 2022 Drop. I experimented with digital patterns and repetition to see how they translated to ceramics.
Winter 2022 Drop
After the Summer 2022 Drop, I wanted to focus more on digital patterns, particularly bitmap patterns and textures.
Spring 2022 Drop
This was the inaugural Putnam Studio drop, and my goal was to push the boundaries of ceramics in terms of appearance and texture. I emphasized vibrant colors, applied sprays of underglazes, and incorporated these elements throughout the accompanying materials.
Fall 2022 Drop
For the Fall 2022 collection, I incorporated softer glaze transitions into the functional ware and began experimenting with ceramic tile in wall hanging pieces.
