Atlantic:
How to Keep Time
I developed the artwork for The Atlantic's podcast, "How To Keep Time." This is the fifth season in the "How To" series. The main guideline was to maintain the same color scheme as the artwork from other seasons, drawing inspiration from my earlier spray paint artwork.

Concepts
The project's first step involved creating numerous concept sketches. The concepts fell into three categories: Iconic, Abstract, and Conceptual.
The Iconic concepts use recognizable timekeeping objects, combining actual timekeeping elements and natural symbols representing time.
The Abstract set of sketches represents time more abstractly than the Iconic ones.
The Conceptual sketches are more conceptual and editorial compared to the previous ones.
Final Art
The Atlantic prefers the abstract version of the cover, so I've refined the art with hand-drawn line work and made adjustments to the composition. I've also created multiple versions of the artwork in various dimensions for use in other materials such as ads, newsletters, emails, and promotions.
Final Art
Once the cover is finalized, I create new art for promotional and marketing materials, intended for Apple Podcast, Instagram, and other social networks.
